LVTA MEMBERSHIP
LVTA brings together all tourism stakeholders for the purpose of advancing advocacy issues audibly and powerfully for the benefit of businesses and communities. As a member of LVTA you have the power to influence decisions that are made in the tourism industry that directly impact on your business. LVTA members, are part of a comprehensive network for common purpose of strengthening Kenya’s tourism sector.
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPs
Membership at LVTA is structured in two major types. These types include; Ordinary Membership* which forms 80% of LVTA membership and Associate Membership* which is 20%
- Membership fee is calculated based on property classification and assessment. The fee is payable annually through the association’s bank account or Mpesa Paybill number. If payment is done via Mpesa Paybill, Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or cheque, one will need to provide a remittance advice.
ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP
LVTA Ordinary membership is extended to individuals or companies that are directly involved in tourism and hospitality industries. This group of members include, hotels, restaurants, tour & travel operators, creative artists, guest houses & hostels, cultural groups and community based tourism
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Associate/Consultancy membership is extended to firms which have direct interest in promoting tourism and hospitality, either through the provision of services or other inputs.
