The Organizing Secretary is responsible for coordinating and managing the planning, organization, and execution of activities, events, and programs of the Lake Victoria Tourism Association (LVTA).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the planning and organization of LVTA meetings, events, conferences, exhibitions, and tourism activities.
  • Work closely with the Executive Committee and Secretariat to ensure successful implementation of programs and events.
  • Mobilize members and stakeholders for participation in association activities and engagements.
  • Coordinate event logistics, scheduling, and operational arrangements.
  • Support membership engagement and promote active participation within the association.
  • Assist in organizing tourism campaigns, CSR activities, training sessions, and stakeholder forums.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination during official functions and activities.
  • Collaborate with committees and partners in the execution of organizational programs.
  • Support the promotion and visibility of LVTA initiatives and events.
  • Maintain proper records and reports related to organized activities and programs.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and efficiency in all organizational functions.
  • Represent the association in official engagements when delegated.

The Organizing Secretary plays a key role in ensuring that LVTA activities are well-coordinated, impactful, and aligned with the association’s mission of promoting sustainable tourism and stakeholder collaboration in the Lake Victoria region.
