KTB Board Engagement with LVTA

On the sideline of the World Tourism Day activities in Kisumu County, the Kenya Tourism Board met with the members of the Lake Victoria Tourism Association (LVTA) to explore innovative ways of promoting tourism to the lake region for both local and international visitors.

The Lake Victoria Tourism Association had representation from the counties in the region, with a mix of accommodation providers, tour operators and product owners. During the session, they were able to co-create solutions with the KTB board to market the region more effectively.

The Lake Victoria region is teeming with vibrant sites, historical landmarks and hidden gems that LVTA is working to promote.
