As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the Lake Victoria Tourism Association (LVTA) proudly sponsored a one-day youth football tournament held at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) grounds.
The event brought together several youth teams from the region, offering an opportunity to nurture talent, promote community engagement, and encourage positive youth development through sports.

The tournament culminated in a thrilling final, where the winning team was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Ksh 10,000. The runners-up received Ksh 5,000 in recognition of their commendable performance.
LVTA was honoured to be represented by the Vice Chairman, Rev. William Owuya, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. His presence underscored the association’s commitment to supporting youth empowerment and community-based initiatives.
The event was a great success and further reinforced LVTA’s dedication to making a meaningful impact across the Western Kenya region.
