The Assistant Organizing Secretary supports the Organizing Secretary in coordinating, planning, and implementing activities, events, and programs of the Lake Victoria Tourism Association (LVTA).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in organizing LVTA meetings, conferences, exhibitions, tourism events, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Support coordination of event logistics, scheduling, and operational arrangements.
  • Assist in mobilizing members and stakeholders to participate in association activities and programs.
  • Work closely with the Organizing Secretary and Executive Committee in implementing organizational activities.
  • Help coordinate tourism campaigns, CSR initiatives, training sessions, and promotional events.
  • Support communication and coordination during official meetings and functions.
  • Assist in maintaining records and reports related to organized activities and events.
  • Act on behalf of the Organizing Secretary in their absence.
  • Promote teamwork, active participation, and smooth execution of association programs.
  • Collaborate with committees, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of activities.
  • Support the visibility and promotion of LVTA initiatives within the tourism sector.
  • Uphold professionalism, efficiency, and effective coordination in all assigned duties.

The Assistant Organizing Secretary plays a supportive role in ensuring that LVTA activities and programs are effectively coordinated and successfully executed in line with the association’s objectives.
